With state-of-the-art equipment and faculty who are not only engineers by profession but also researchers and educators recognized for their expertise, the College provides a firm foundation for further exploration of the many possibilities that technology presents.

All undergraduate degree programs of the Gokongwei College of Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the ABET.

Its Chemical Engineering Department is the Center for Chemical Engineering in the ASEAN Region and a recognized CHED Center of Excellence.

CHED also acknowledges GCOE’s Civil Engineering, Electronics andCommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering departments as Centers of Excellence. At the same time, GCOE’s Computer Engineering is a CHED Center of Development.

Students who are interested in enrolling in the degree programs of this college must have an avid interest in infrastructure, design, production, manufacturing, and other aspects of the different fields of engineering. They must have a good grasp of mathematics, must have good analytical abilities, and must be able to express themselves effectively in both oral and written communication.
