This is a three-year joint program of De La Salle University (DLSU) and De La Salle Araneta University (DLSAU). The BS in Animal Biology program will be offered and implemented by DLSU including awarding the BS degree to the graduates.

The first two years of the program will consist of the new General Education program prescribed by CHED at the tertiary level, the Lasallian Core Curriculum, and the pre-requisite subjects to the major courses. All these will be offered by DLSU at its Manila Campus. The third year of the program will consist of major courses to be offered by DLSAU at its Malabon Campus and credited by DLSAU to its Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program.

This unique program will offer students training in the biological and natural sciences as they apply to animals from the molecular to the ecological and evolutionary levels of organization. It will prepare students primarily for a career in veterinary medicine. The program will allow highly qualified students to obtain a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
