The Interdisciplinary Business Studies (IBSS) program was developed for students who desire a more generalist orientation to business. It is intended for students who want to know the full range of basic and essential business and management fields without specializing in them.
IBSS students are required to take the 39 units of core management and business courses. With these, they acquire necessary and sufficient knowledge of basic management disciplines such as marketing, operations, finance, human resource, information systems, and human resource management.
The IBSS program is the only program that allows students to take 8 courses (3 units each) as electives from all the departments of the RVR-COB as well as with other colleges in DLSU and possibly with De La Salle College of Saint Benilde. These electives cap the interdisciplinary nature of the program where students can take courses they are passionate in. This program feature also provides IBSS students the opportunity to pursue career options in the future according to their diverse interest.
