Behavorial Sciences provides a basic understanding of human behavior in various social groups, business and development organizations, and communities utilizing the grounded interdisciplinary perspectives and methodologies of the three interrelated behavioral science disciplines of sociology, anthropology, and social psychology.
The program covers the socio-cultural dimensions of entrepreneurship; organizational development and management; and program development, management, and evaluation. It aims to enhance the students’ knowledge and skills in research, especially as applied in business and industry, and in national and international development. It seeks to equip students with appropriate knowledge, values, and tools at work that they can use to enable their organizations and communities to effectively respond to the formidable tasks of the times.
